Volleyball beats Omak, loses to Brewster

The Lady Raiders volleyball team played in Omak against both Omak and Brewster April 3, when they defeated Omak 3-0, and lost to Brewster 3-1.

LR finished their season with a 4-9 win-loss record.

Raiders Football lose to Brewster

The Raiders played the Bears in Brewster on April 2 when they lost 46-22 to finish the season with a 3-2 win-loss record. 

The Raiders scored first on a 40-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Hunter Whitelaw, leading 14-6 at the end of the first quarter, and 22-18 at the end of the half.

But the Raiders were scoreless in the second half when Brewster put up another 28 points to win the game 46-22. 

Soccer loses to Royal

The Lady Raiders soccer team played a road game against Royal on March 30 when they lost 3-1.

LR finished the season with a 3-4 win-loss record.

Assistant Coach Merlee Liberty said,"These girls never cease to amaze me. They endured and fought hard through the adversity they faced this season. It was incredible to witness the growth these girls had turning into athletes. I am very proud to be one of their coaches!"

CC runs at region's championship meet

The Raider cross country team wrapped up their season by running in the North Central Region Championship at Walla Walla Point Park on April 1 where 19 teams competed.

Colton Jackson was the top finisher for the Raiders, running the 5,000-meter race in 20 minutes, 12.4 seconds. 

Marteena Oflynn-Fulfer was the fastest girl for the Raiders with a time of 28:43.2.
