Colville Indian Housing Authority

Request for Quotations

The Colville Indian Housing Authority is requesting quotations from Indian owned and non-Indian owned firms to furnish labor and materials for one project. All work and materials will be detailed in the scope of work for the project. Demo fire damaged Malott Unit’s 4154, 4155, and 4156. All written proposals must be delivered to the Colville Indian Housing Authority, Finance Department, Nespelem, WA, Attn: Toria.Jackson.HSG@covilletribes.com or FAX (509)634-2335, NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM Local Time, January 6, 2021.

Grant County Conservation District

PUBLIC NOTICE

A mail election for a board seat on the Grant County Conservation District will be held on March 9, 2021. Interested candidates must be registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the District. Candidates may be required to be landowners or operators of a farm, depending on the current composition of the District board of supervisors. The filing deadline for candidates to file their candidate required information is February 9, 2021 by 5:00 PM (pacific time zone). Interested candidates must file their candidate required information at the following location 1107 S. Juniper Dr., Moses Lake WA. 98837.

Eligible voters are registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the District. The last day and time that voters can request ballots from the District is February 16, 2021 by 5:00 PM (pacific time zone). Ballots can be requested from Grant County Conservation District/ Lyle Stoltman, 1107 S. Juniper Dr., Moses Lake WA. 98837, (509) 765-9618 or (509) 989-7093. If a voter is returning a ballot by mail, the voter must account for the time it will take for the ballot to be returned to the district by mail. Ballots returned by mail must be post-marked no later than Election Day, March 9, 2021. The election supervisor will be Lyle T. Stoltman. Mail in ballots must be postmarked no later than March 09, 2021. Return ballots to the: Grant County Conservation District 1107 S. Juniper Dr. Moses Lake, WA, 98837.

A conservation district supervisor is a volunteer public official who serves without compensation and who sets policy and direction for the conservation district. The published election procedures can be viewed at the District office and are available from the Washington State Conservation Commission at http://scc.wa.gov/. Adopted at a regular board meeting of the District Board of Supervisors on 12/08/2020.

Regional Board of Mayors

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Regional Board of Mayors is meeting for a special meeting on Wednesday, December 16 to discuss their 2021 budget.  The meeting will be held by a ZOOM at 4:00pm.  Anyone wishing to join the meeting may contact the Electric City City Clerk at ecclerk@electriccity.us prior to the meeting date for dial-in information.

INTENT TO FILE APPLICATION

There will be a public hearing on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 5:45pm at City Hall (10 Stevens Ave, Electric City) to discuss the City’s intent to adopt a Water Use Efficiency goal that supports water demand efficiency.  An outline of this proposed project is available at City Hall at the address above.  Any comments regarding the project to set this goal should be submitted to the City of Electric City, Attn: Peggy Nevsimal at the address above.  City Hall is handicap accessible.
