Police

11/5 -  A woman reported that kids may be throwing rocks at her Spring Canyon Apartments window. An officer didn’t locate any kids but noted strong winds at the time.

- A wallet found near Safeway was turned into police, who drove to the Elmer City address on the driver’s license but found no one home. Another officer recognized the driver as an employee from Coulee Gas. An employee there contacted him and he retrieved his wallet from the police.

- A woman on Miller Avenue reported that she thought someone stole her cat. Police attempted to look for the cat. A friend arrived and told police she would help the woman look for the cat and the police didn’t need to stay. They called police back to tell them they’d found the cat hiding behind the toilet.

11/6 - A woman reported tire rims left behind her son’s Burdin Boulevard house and a shed pried open. She said nothing appeared to be missing from the shed but thinks people may be sleeping in there. Police told her to report any further suspicious activity. The next day, an officer spoke with a man to see if the rims were his. The man was able to describe the right size of the rims and they were indeed his, and he hadn’t realized they were missing.

- A Miller Avenue woman reported being harassed by another woman putting cigarette butts into her makeup. That woman denied that and said she would avoid the reporting woman.

- A trailer reportedly was blocking a lane of Spokane Way near Les Schwab. The owner had already moved the trailer.

11/3 - Police spoke to a tenant of the Coulee House Motel where she reported another tenant throwing rocks at her door. She went to confront the other tenant while the officer was there. The two tenants began arguing. Police separated them. The case was turned over to tribal police when they arrived.

11/4 - A man reported to police that while his wife’s car was parked behind Harvest Foods sometime between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. someone had attempted to break into the vehicle, possibly with a coat hanger, causing damage to the molding around the window and the frame around the window being pulled away from the body of the vehicle. The attempt to break in was unsuccessful and nothing was missing.

11/7 - A driver was pulled over near Aspen Street and River Drive for driving with a broken side mirror. She said she was working on getting it fixed following an accident.
