CALL FOR BIDS

The Town of Nespelem is requesting bids for the installation of a fire hydrant. The bid packet may be obtained by contacting Town Hall at 509-634-4691 or emailing townofnespelem@centurylink.net.

Sealed bids must be submitted by 12pm October 14, 2020. The Town of Nespelem reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

MOSQUITO DISTRICT POSITION #4 VACANCY

The City of Electric City is requesting letters of interest to fill vacant position #4 on the Grant County Mosquito District No. 2 Board. The Mosquito District meets monthly on the second Thursday of the month, at 5:00pm, and is a volunteer position. Please mail, or hand deliver, a letter of interest by October 7, 2020, addressed to Mayor Diane Kohout, PO Box 130, Electric City, WA 99123. City Hall is accessible to persons of all abilities. The Town of Elmer City will hold a Zoom Regular Council Meeting on Thursday October 8, 2020 from 7 to 8PM. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to provide oral comments at said meeting. Written comments can be submitted at the Town Hall for three days following the meeting. Please follow the same instructions for joining the meeting as described in the previous announcement of our Budget Meeting.

LEGAL NOTICE

Weis Towers LLC is proposing to construct a new self-support lattice tower up to 199’ tall for wireless telecommunication antenna arrays on its privately owned fee land. The site location has been previously disturbed by barn yard buildings, fencing, roads and home. The proposed tower site is located at a general address of 41437 Road R NE, Hartline, WA 99135 in Section 06, Township 25 North, Range 30 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. In accordance with the National Preservation Act of 1966, as amended and the 2005 Nationwide Programmatic Agreement for Review under the National Preservation Act-Final Rule, Weis Towers LLC is hereby notifying the public of the proposed undertaking and soliciting comments on any Historic Properties within a 0.5-mile radius of the undertaking which are listed or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.
