4/28 - A physical altercation was reported near Alcan Road and King Street. Neighbors said the people involved left in an SUV heading east on SR-174.

- A man sleeping in his car at Jack’s 76 gas station said he had been driving for four hours and fell asleep while waiting for his girlfriend to text him back. The man said he would leave.

4/29 - A man spoke to police about letting a friend borrow his car, and his friend then selling it to someone in Moses Lake. An officer told him he’d probably have to go through the courts to get his car back. The man thanked the officer.

4/30 - Vandalism was reported at the former middle school where a witness said she saw about eight boys leave the gym after apparently playing basketball there. Locks had been cut to gain access to the gym. One of the boys was identified but police were unable to contact him.

5/1 - Police assisted in loading into an ambulance a man suffering from an overdose on Dill Avenue.

5/2 - Police responded to the Crown Point turnoff on SR-174, where a truck had rolled over. The vehicle was unoccupied, and a shotgun was found nearby. Police stood by, waiting for Douglas County deputies to arrive. A man dropped off at the truck said he had been its only occupant and that he didn’t need medical attention. Douglas County officers performed a sobriety test on the man. Grand Coulee police didn’t hear how the test went, but heard the man exclaim “I’m ****** up!” after the tests were performed. A Douglas County deputy took him into custody. Grand Coulee police waited with the vehicle until a tow truck arrived.

- A man was causing a disturbance at the hospital because he wasn’t allowed to visit a patient. Hospital staff told police the patient didn’t want to see him. The man was banned from the hospital unless in need of emergency medical care.

5/4 - A possible burglary was reported along Coulee Boulevard with people heard, but not seen, on the roof of a residence. No one was found by police.

4/28 - Responding to reports of a possible domestic situation, police spoke to occupants of a room at the Columbia River Inn. The occupants said they had been watching TV, which would account for any noise.

4/30 - A man on Pine Street said another man, whom he identified, pulled a pistol on him and demanded his car keys. The man reluctantly gave the other man his keys and he drove off. An officer spoke to Tribal Police, who said they had the man in custody along Highway 21 and that the vehicle was broken down and would be towed. Police told the victim of the situation.

5/2 - Police responded to a report of shots heard near Yucca Street and Civic Way. Tribal Police were already there and had a man in custody. A dead deer was on the side of the road. Tribal Police said the man told them he’d shot the deer on government land outside the city limits.
