12/30 - Police were unable to locate a juvenile said to have thrown a snowball at the reporting party’s car near Center Elementary.

12/31 - A man at a Coulee Boulevard apartment agreed to turn his music down following a complaint from a neighbor.

- Police attributed a report of a weapon firing in the Sunny Drive area to fireworks being lit off for the new year.

1/1 - A man on Dill Avenue was arrested and taken to jail following a fight with his wife and stepson.

1/3-4 - A man brought a container to police containing substances appearing to be meth and cocaine. He said they were his girlfriend’s and he wants her to get treatment. The drugs were sent to Washington State Patrol crime lab for analysis.

1/3 - Police contacted a Mead Avenue man and gave his phone number to the Omak Police Department regarding a hit-and-run incident at a McDonalds.

- Chaos ensued on Federal Avenue, where police were told a man had threatened others with a knife as they were trying to retrieve a woman’s things. The man claimed that they had threatened him with a gun. He also said his girlfriend had left when he confronted her about drugs. Bear mace was sprayed inside the man’s apartment and got into the hallway at one point, a neighbor told police.

1/4 - Police disposed of a drug needle found in the parking lot of Jack’s 4-Corners.

1/5 - A driver reported hitting a deer along SR-174 near milepost 23 with his white Subaru. Pictures were taken of damage to his passenger-side headlight and bumper and the man was given a case number for insurance purposes.

- A King Street home was found open and appeared to have been rummaged through. Police contacted the homeowner and secured the home.

1/6 - A man said his live-in girlfriend took his car keys. An officer retrieved the keys for him and told both of them that she had a right to retrieve her belongings.

- Police were unable to find a man who had reportedly knocked on a Burdin Boulevard home and refused to leave.

12/31 - The bowling alley owner found a plastic bag with a crystal-like substance in it, which police took to the station to be destroyed.

1/2 - Police locked an open door on a home on Fir Street that has been vacant since 2014, according to city hall records. Police suspect that people have been squatting in the home.

- A driver was pulled over along SR-155 after police clocked her going 65 miles per hour in the 30 mph zone. The woman laughed after being pulled over, saying she bet her friend she could make it home from the casino in under five minutes. She was cited for reckless driving for more than doubling the speed limit, and being side to side with another vehicle on a wet roadway.

1/5 - A Mazda hatchback car with expired tabs was towed from Central Drive and impounded in Wilbur. Police noted the vehicle had been parked there on the city street for several weeks.
