Town of Elmer City

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that on September 13, 2018 at 6:45 p.m., the Town of Elmer City will hold a public hearing to review and update its Critical Areas Ordinance (CAO). This update is a requirement of the Growth Management Act. The CAO relates to the identification, classification, and regulation of critical areas. All interested persons are invited to attend and provide testimony regarding this ordinance. Copies of the ordinance are available at Elmer City Town Hall, located at 505 Seaton Avenue. The Elmer City Town Hall is accessible to the handicapped.

4 Yard Garbage Rate Increase

An error in calculations was made when raising the 4 Yard Garbage Rate on Ordinance No. 527-2017. As a result the rate will remain as published in the Ordinance until November 1, 2018, when the revised rate will go into effect. Those of you affected by the error will receive a credit for the months you were billed the incorrect rate. If you have any questions please contact City Hall at 633-1510.

The Administrator named below has been appointed as Administrator of this estate. Any person having a claim against the deceased must, before the time the claim would be barred by any otherwise applicable statue of limitations, present the claim in the manner as provided in RCW 11.40.070 by serving on or mailing to the Administrator or to the Administrator’s attorney at the address stated below a copy of the claim and filing the original of the claim with the Court in which the probate proceedings were commenced. The claim must be presented within the later of: (1) Thirty days after the Administrator served or mailed the notice to the creditors as provided under RCW 11.40.020(1) (c); or (2) four months after the date of the first publication of the notice. If the claim is not presented within this time frame, the claim is forever barred, except as otherwise provided in RCW 11.40.051 and 11.40.060. This bar is effective as to claims against both the decedent’s probate and nonprobate assets.
