Chamber This Week

The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will meet this Thursday, June 7, at noon at Sunbanks Resort Lodge Cantina, outside of Electric City. The public is welcome.

Food Bank Hours; Closed June 15

The food bank at the Church of the Nazarene has normal operating hours every Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. It is located at the Church of Nazarene, Hwy 174, Grand Coulee. The bank will be closed June 15. Grocery bags are no longer needed and clients are encouraged to provide their own containers to carry groceries home in. Call Pastor Shawn for information: 633-2566.

American Legion to Meet

The American Legion Post 157 next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Grand Coulee. All monthly meetings for June, July and August will be at this location.

Ice Age Floods Institute to Meet June 12

Wenatchee Valley Erratics Chapter of the Ice Age Floods Institute will meet at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, at the Wenatchee Valley Museum, 127 South Mission, Wenatchee. “Shake, Rattle & Rebound” - The speaker, Sandi Doughton, is the award-winning science-writer for The Seattle Times and author of “Full Rip 9.0: The Next Big Earthquake in the Pacific Northwest.”
