Holly K Andersen, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane Valley, Washington. She was born December 15, 1960, in Hawaii to William and Shirley Andrews of Bonifay, Florida. Holly was married to Dean Andersen and they lived on a farmstead by Creston, Washington. She was a 24-year Navy veteran who served as a Cryptologic Technician (CTR) and honorably served through many Navy campaigns and operations. Her awards include two Navy Commendation Medals, one Navy Achievement Medal, six Good Conduct Medals, two National Defense Service Medals, one Gulf War on Terrorism (GWOT) Expeditionary Medal, one Gulf War on Terrorism Service Medal, one Humanitarian Service Medal and multiple campaign ribbons.

After her Navy retirement, Holly worked at the Grand Coulee Dam, where she was admired and respected by all. Holly truly lived life to the fullest and enjoyed chatting with family and friends, quilting, spending time with family, especially her children/grandchildren, and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle. Holly was a free spirit with a big heart of gold. Holly had an uncanny ability to reach people in a compassionate and positive way, always with a smile on her face.

She is survived by her husband, Dean (Creston); mother, Shirley (Bonifay, FL); brother, William (Perry, GA); brother, Danny (Raleigh, NC); brother, Tommy (Denver, NC); sister, Cathy (Rocky Mount, NC); sons: Jonathan and Andrew; daughter, Josea; stepson, Matthew; stepdaughter, Mellissa; and grandchildren: Terrel, Tristan, Rhett and Gabrial. She was preceded in death by her father, William Andrews.

Family and friends whose lives Holly touched were invited to her celebration of life, held May 19, 2018.
