Chamber to Meet

  The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will meet this Thursday, May 17, at La Presa Mexican Restaurant at noon. The public is welcome.

Coulee Creators Meet on Tuesdays

Coulee Creators meet at 412 Federal Ave. Room 207, Grand Coulee. Contact Marlene Oddie at KISSed Quilts or 509-386-5715 for further details. Hours are normally Tuesdays 1-4 p.m.

School Retirees’ Association to Meet

Okanogan County School Retirees’ Association will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, for a general meeting and no-host luncheon at Koala Street Grill, 914 Koala St., Omak. For more information call Jennie Hedington 509-422-2954.

Blood Drive Set

Inland Northwest Blood Center, along with the Grand Coulee community blood drive volunteers led by Leha Neilsen, is planning a blood drive for Monday, May 21.

Donation hours will be from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at the community room in Coulee Medical Center.

AA Meetings for GCD and Nespelem Area

Confused in the Coulee AA meetings are held on Mondays and Fridays at 6 p.m. at the Vets Center in Electric City. Call Paul at 633-3377 days or 633-3345 evenings.

New Hope Group meetings are held Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at the Vets Center. These are open and non-smoking.

In Nespelem, the group Bound and Determined holds its meetings Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Catholic Church. Contact Myrna at 634-4921 for more information.
