Raider baseball ends with a close loss

The Lake Roosevelt Raiders lost 7-6 against the Waterville Shockers on May 1, effectively ending their season with a 7-9 win-loss record in the Central Washington 2B league, 8-11 overall.

Ranked sixth out of 10 teams, the Raiders failed to qualify for the postseason.

The Brewster Bears are ranked first in the league with an undefeated 16-0 league record, 18-4 overall.

The head coach declined to comment on the loss or the season.
