Dam spillage due to minor generator maintenance

The Grand Coulee Dam spilled water over the top last week due to anticipation of spring runoff, combine with minor maintenance being performed on a generator.

"Inflows into Lake Roosevelt are up slightly," said Lynne Brougher, Public Affairs Officer for the Bureau of Reclamation. "We needed to continue to move water downstream to prepare Lake Roosevelt for the spring runoff."
