This Raiders chalked up two league victories, a loss in league, plus a non-league loss last week, defeating the Tonasket Tigers, losing to the Omak Pioneers, defeating the Bridgeport Mustangs, and falling to the Brewster Bears.

The Raiders hosted the Tigers Jan. 23, and won with a final score of 60-56.

"Close win," Head Coach Jeremy Crollard said. "The boys played well."

"Down the stretch, Kyle Edmo got some big boards for us on defense," added Assistant Coach Ty Egbert.

Trevor McCraigie scored 23 points against Tonasket. Adam George contributed a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Hunter Whitelaw pulled down 15 rebounds.

The Raiders lost 54-39 to the Pioneers in a non-league bout in Omak Thursday.

Down by only four points at the start of the fourth quarter, the Raiders couldn't close the gap.

The Raiders went to Bridgeport two days later, where they defeated the Mustangs with a final of 68-54, and McCraigie led the Raiders with a whopping 29 points.

Lake Roosevelt played the Brewster Bears at home last night and got mauled, losing 63-33.

"They're a great team," Crollard said about Brewster after the game. "In order to compete with teams like that you have to match their intensity, their wit, their skill; and we just didn't bring it tonight."

The Raiders, with a league win-loss record of 8-6, are neck and neck with the 8-5 Tigers for the third- or fourth-place seeds for the postseason, behind the undefeated (in league) Brewster Bears (14-0) and Oroville (10-4).

The remaining two regular season games will determine which teams are seeded where.

LR's next game is tomorrow, Feb. 1, at home with the Waterville Shockers at 7:30 p.m. Then on Saturday, Feb. 3, they host the Soap Lake Eagles at 6 p.m.

"If our boys play the way I know they can, we will win," Crollard said.
