The Raiders defeated the Trojans in the final seconds at home before losing to the Tigers in Tonasket last week.

Hosting the Manson Trojans on Dec. 12, the Raiders maintained a lead but almost lost the game in the fourth quarter.

Going into the fourth, LR held a strong 44-32 lead, but the Trojans rallied, tying the game with a three-pointer, 51-51, with one minute and 30 seconds remaining.

In the final 30 seconds of the game, with only three seconds on the shot clock, the Raiders inbounded to Trevor McCraigie, who made a three-point shot as the home crowd roared in celebration.

The Trojans were unable to sink two separate three-point attempts on their next possession, and the Raiders walked away with a 54-51 victory.

"It was an amazing finish," Head Coach Jeremy Crollard said after the game. "For Trevor to make that big shot at the end was huge."

Crollard added that they wouldn't have been put in that position if they hadn't given up their large lead during the fourth quarter.

"When we're up, we need to learn how to finish," he said. "We let them back in the game with sloppy defense. We can learn from this."

In Tonasket on Thursday, the Raiders lost to the Tigers with a final score of 61-55.

Now on winter break, the Raiders' next game will be in the Eagles Holiday Classic on Dec. 28, at West Valley High School in Spokane Valley, with the boys scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.

Last Saturday, a game against Okanogan was canceled and has been rescheduled for Friday, Jan. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
