Notice is hereby given that the Town of Nespelem will hold a Preliminary Budget Hearing on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 5 p.m. at Town Hall. Copies of the 2018 Preliminary Budget are available at Town Hall during normal business hours. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to provide either written or oral comments concerning the 2018 Budget at said Preliminary Budget Hearing. 

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Nespelem will hold a Final Budget Hearing on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, 5:00 p.m. at Town Hall.  All interested persons will be given the opportunity to provide either written or oral comments concerning the 2018 Budget at said Final Budget Hearing.

2018 Revenue Source/Ad Valorem Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Elmer City will hold a public hearing on the Revenue Source/Ad Valorem Hearing for the Budget year 2018, including consideration of possible increases in property tax revenues on November 9, 2017, at 6:50 p.m. at Elmer City Town Hall, 505 Seaton Ave., Elmer City, WA. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to provide written or oral comments at said meeting. Elmer City Town Hall is accessible to the handicapped.

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 1043

On the 31st of October, 2017, the City Council of the City of Grand Coulee, Washington, passed Ordinance No. 1043. A summary of the content of said Ordinance, consisting of the title, provides as follows:

ORDINANCE NO. 1043

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAND COULEE ESTABLISHING THE GRAND COULEE TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT NO. 1, SETTING FORTH THE PURPOSE AND AUTHORITY OF THE DISTRICT AND SPECIFYING THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICT WILL COINCIDE WITH CITY BOUNDARIES.

The full text of this Ordinance will be mailed upon request.

CITY OF GRAND COULEE

SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE

The Transportation Benefit District No. 1 (TBD 1) of the City of Grand Coulee, Washington, will conduct a special meeting to adopt by-laws, set a meeting day and time and conduct regular business for TBD 1. The special meeting will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 306 Midway Avenue just prior to the regular council meeting. The city hall is accessible to persons with disabilities. The city will make arrangements to reasonably accommodate the needs of special classes of citizens, including handicap accessibility.

NOTICE OF MEETING CHANGE

The regularly scheduled meeting for the Coulee Area Parks and Recreation District has been changed to Monday, Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m., at the former middle school in Grand Coulee.

Lincoln County Fire Dist. #9

NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2018 Budget Public Hearing will be held by the Lincoln County Fire District #9 on November 16, 2017, at 6 p.m., at the Nazarene Church, two miles east of Grand Coulee on SR-174. All interested parties will be given the opportunity to provide both written and oral comments on the 2018 Budget at said public hearing.

Following the 2018 Budget Public Hearing, the Lincoln County Fire District #9 will hold its regular bi-monthly meeting. All interested persons are invited to attend.
