Lake Roosevelt harriers ran in Eastside Park in Omak Oct. 4.

"The Omak invite went great," Head Coach Brian Daniels said. "Nearly every runner had a PR (personal record) for the race. They ran fast and did very, very well."

The course was run mostly on paved and dirt roads, with some grass surfaces at the finish.

"Weather was great. A bit cool, which I feel is pretty ideal for a race," Daniels said.

Top Raider finishers were, for the boys, Adam George who placed ninth; and for the girls, Kyona Edmo, who placed seventh, and Kayla St. Pierre, who placed 10th.

"All ran very competitively," Daniels said.

The cross country team heads to the Oroville Invitational this Friday the 13th (good luck!) at Lake Osoyoos State Park, with the first race scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
