This past week the Lake Roosevelt Raider tennis team lost at home against the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions, then travelled to Okanogan where they lost to the Bulldogs.

Against Liberty Bell, the boys lost 4-1, as did the girls.

Terry Yazzie and Bradley Wilder had the win for the day competing in boys' doubles, winning the first match 7-5, losing the second 1-6, then winning the tiebreaker 14-12.

In Okanogan, the Raiders felt the love, with both the boys and girls losing 5-0.

"The competition was stiff," said Raider Head Coach Steve Archer.

The tennis team competed in Wilbur yesterday, results will be reported in next week's Star.

They play Wilbur again at home on Thursday at 4 p.m. then on Saturday they will host the Tonasket Tigers for their last regular season match.

From there the tennis team will compete in districts.
