One of her favorite pastimes was judging competitions in county fairs and the state grange competition. Eleanor was very talented with her hand-embroidery work. Eleanor and Cecil were well known for their involvement in the community and countless hours of volunteer work. She was the proudest grandmother and great-grandmother.
