Firefighters mop up an early morning house fire in Elmer City on Friday. The house belonged to Dave Stanczak. It was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The fire call went out at 6 a.m., and the fire is under investigation. Fire leveled the house, but firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading through dry grass adjacent to the house. - Roger Lucas photo
