Adults and kids of all ages are invited to enter the annual Sawhorse Cow Contest sponsored by the Grant County CattleWomen at this year’s county fair.

Entries must start with a sawhorse of any size, and resemble a cow when finished. Creativity in designing/decorating the cow sawhorse is encouraged.

Cash prizes of $50, $35, $25, and $10 will be award to the top three placers and honorable mention entries in each category.

Age divisions are: 10 and younger, 11-14, 15-18, and adult.

Entries will be accepted on Monday, Aug. 17, from 3-7 p.m. at the fairgrounds, between the 4-H and Commercial buildings. Awards will be presented on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at noon. Entry forms are available at the fair office.
