There's going to be a parade, a carnival and a rodeo. And that's just the beginning for the 57th annual Colorama Festival. The rodeo started one year earlier and it's 58 years for the Ridge Rider event.

The action begins Thursday with the early kickoff for the Paradise Amusement Carnival located at North Dam Park.

Advance tickets are still on sale.

Then Friday starts the craft fair and the first events of the rodeo.

Saturday is the Cowboy Breakfast, the big parade, and more rodeo and other events.

It's all in the special Colorama section inside this week's Star newspaper.

Join in the events and bring the kids. It's truly a family celebration, and sponsored by the Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce.
