Pier dedicated

Steamboat Rock State Park Ranger Jeremy Jalali and Grand Coulee Dam Rotary Club President Colleen Manley cut the ribbon Monday at an official dedication of the first handicapped-accessible fishing pier in North Central Washington. The 12 year, $60,000 project was supported by the community at numerous spaghetti feeds and by Rotary District 5060, the Columbia Basin Foundation of Ephrata, the Grand Coulee Lions Club, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, and individual donations. - Scott Hunter photo
