Nancy Camp, 60 of Omak, Wash., passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014, in Wenatchee Wash.

A celebration of Nancy's life was held on Friday, Apr. 11, 2014, at the Strate Funeral Home in Grand Coulee.

Nancy was born in Florence, Ore., to Donald and Anita Camp on October 14, 1953. Nancy earned her AA degree from Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Wash. From there, she went on to have a successful 17 year career with the US Army Corps of Engineers (Civilian Employee). Her job provided her the opportunity to travel to many amazing places such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Belgium. Nancy caught the traveling bug and wanted to see more of the world. All of her family enjoyed her pictures of Europe, Hawaii, and her African Safari in Zimbabwe.

Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Donald Camp.

She is survived by her mother, Anita Camp; brothers: Donald Camp Jr., Jamie Camp, Tony Camp; sister Jewelle Mapes; sons: David Delaney, Jamie Beagle, Jason Beagle, Justin Beagle; daughters: Carrie Scott, Donnita Benton; grandchildren Josh and Jared Scott, Patrick Ramey, and Clara Benton.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee for their support and care of Nancy in her final days.
