Lorena Mae Williams went to be with her Lord and Savior in Page, Ariz., on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at the age of 78. Born on August 31, 1935, in Drumright, Okla., she was one of nine children born to Jesse and Bertha White.

Lorena lived all of her childhood in Drumright until her marriage to her husband Donald Williams, May, 1953. They were married 29 years until his death in 1982.

Throughout her life as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and recently great-great-grandmother she lived in Oklahoma, Kansas, Washington, and Arizona.

Lorena, a mild-mannered loving person, enjoyed fishing, ceramics, playing bingo and puzzles. After moving to Arizona she began volunteering at CUDDLE Outreach, Inc. where she helped in the process of making quilts for foster children. This gave her great joy as she loved to help people, but her greatest love and joy was spending time with her grandchildren and later, when they came along, the great-grandchildren whom she became known to some as "Grammy" or "GG".

Lorena is survived by her four children: Karen and husband Larry Rinker of Page, Ariz.; Donna Rinker of Andover, ME; Donald Jr. and wife Sandy Williams of Sequim, Wash.; Leatha (Chris) and husband (Gary) Lydin of Selah, Wash. Nine grandchildren: Shanna Smith, Wesley (Jamie) Rinker, Michael (Shannon) Tinsley, Randa (Jeff) Fenner, Kyle (Heather) Rinker, Summer (Jason) Miller, Jared Williams, Rochelle (Adam) Jensen and Kevin Lydin. Eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Lorena was preceded in death by her husband Donald Williams; parents Jesse and Bertha White; sisters: Doris Burris and Gertrude Johnson; brothers: Dale White, Donald White, Theodore White and Hugh White; and great-grandson Jacob Rinker.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Strate Funeral Home in Grand Coulee, Washington, Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 1 p.m..

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that memorials in Lorena's name be given to: CUDDLE Outreach, Inc. P.O. Box 3022, Page, Ariz., or Zion's Way Hospice PO Box 1015, Page, Ariz.
