Chamber to Meet at Pepper Jack’s

The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will not be meeting this week due to the Social Media Class being held from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Sunbanks Lodge Resort. For more information contact Peggy at 633-3074.

American Legion Post 157 Meets

The American Legion Post 157 holds legion meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Vets’ Center in Electric City. All veterans are welcome. The next meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 11.

Eagles #2577 Meetings

The Auxiliary’s next scheduled meeting is set for Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. The Auxiliary meets the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m.during the winter months.

The Eagles #2577 Aerie meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. The next meeting is

Feb. 11, at 7 p.m.

CMC Guild to Meet

The CMC Guild (Auxiliary) meeting is set for Tuesday Feb. 18, at CMC from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month.

OES Meeting

The February meeting for Order of Eastern Star will be held Thursday, Feb. 13, with a regular stated meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Short Form and chapter dress. Refreshments will be provided by Dwayne and Bonnie Farr with Birthday Cake provided also by Bonnie Farr.

Livestock and Wildlife Disease Workshop

A livestock and wildlife disease workshop will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 1-4 p.m. at the Nespelem Longhouse in Nespelem. Dr. Rolf Westly, USDA Animal& Plant Health Inspection Service will provide an overview on foreign and other important diseases. This workshop is hosted by Colville Confederated Tribes Range Dept. & WSU Colville Reservation Extension and provided in collaboration with WSU Extension through USDA APHIS PP! Section 10201 Project RAIN funding.

Wenatchee Valley Erratics Chapter to Meet

The Wenatchee Valley Erratics Chapter of the Ice Age Floods Institute will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Wenatchee Valley Museum, 127 South Mission, Wenatchee. The program is free and open to the public. Jack Nisbet, naturalist and writer from Spokane will discuss “Scouring the Basin.”

Friday Story Time

The Grand Coulee Library Story time is every Friday at 10:30 a.m. Regular library hours are Mondays and Thursdays 12:30 - 5:30 p.m .; Tuesdays 12:30 - 7:30 p.m. and Wednesdays and Fridays 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. For information concerning library programs or services call 633-0972.

TOPS Meetings

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 1524 meets on Tuesdays at 9:15 a.m. at Grand Coulee Senior Center prior to the exercise group gathering at 10 a.m. Come and join for the health of it.

A morning chapter TOPS #WA1554 meets Wednesday mornings with weigh-in at 7:45 a.m., and a meeting at 8 a.m. It will also be held at the Coulee Dam Community Church-Presbyterian.
