Joette Barry, left, a member of the Coulee Dam Relief Society, delivered 42 bags full of birthday supplies to Fern Baylock at the food bank last Monday. These bags have been collected over the past few weeks by members of the LDS Church and will be available to anyone who wishes to receive a little help to celebrate a loved one’s birthday. The Relief Society, a worldwide women organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints, bears the multiple purpose of ministering to the sick, assisting the needy and comforting the aged. This welfare organization was created in 1842 and its motto is “ Charity never faileth”.
