Virgil "Smoker" Marchand said he is ready to start his 7-foot-tall sculpture of Lake Roosevelt schools mascot that will be placed at the front of the new school. Kole Galbraith, son of Colville tribal member Lorena Boyd and Allan Galbraith, grandson to Larry and Gerry Boyd, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English in the small, rural village of Bad-Aussee, Austria.
