Donna N. Broach, 74, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, in Spokane, Wash. She was born September 10, 1937, in Coulee Dam, Washington, to the home of Walter and Rosalie Booth. In 1953 Donna married Donald Langstaff in Coulee Dam, after meeting him on the McClure Ranch. Searching for greener pastures for employment, they moved to California in 1956. Walt Netzel passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012, in the bed that he had built, in the house he had built, with family present. Walt was born in 1923 in a little town in northern Wisconsin, where he grew up loving the outdoors, a love that lasted all his life. After finishing high school in Crandon, he entered the University of Wisconsin School of Electrical Engineering. Leslie Edwin Lillquist of Laconner, Wash., died on Sunday, July 15, 2012, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Les was born to Edwin and Violet Lillquist on November 7, 1931, the oldest of five sons, in Mount Vernon. Soon after, his family moved to Grand Coulee where he grew up in the booming construction town and in the surrounding hills hunting, fishing and rockhounding with his dog King. Margareta Elvira (Hanson) Pfeifer 96, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at the Coulee Medical Center Long Term Care in Grand Coulee, Wash.
