Martha (Woelk) Glick Stefanik was born on Pentecost Sunday, June 8, 1919, to Abraham A. and Anna (Goertz) Woelk on a farm one mile north of Goessel, Kansas, and passed away from natural causes on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at the age of 93. The fourth of eight children and the first to live to be 90, Martha graduated from Rural Gordon School and went on to attend high school in Goessel.
