    Vitalant, along with the Grand Coulee community blood drive volunteers led by coordinator Donia Black, is planning a blood drive for Monday, October 21. Donation hours will be from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the community room at Coulee Medical Center. Vitalant is the sole blood provider to more than 35 hospitals across the Inland Northwest and needs an average of 200 blood donors every day.   • Freezer full of locally sourced protein awarded at halftime

    A quarter beef from Egbert Cattle Company, along with a chest freezer donated by Loepp Furniture and Appliance, was won by Annette Moses in a raffle ticket drawing at halftime in the Lake Roosevelt Raiders 54-14 victory over the Oroville Hornets on Friday.
