    Bertha Ann Mustard, 80, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee, Washington. She was in the arms of her daughter Mary at the time of her passing. Bertha was born to Otto Clinton Mustard and Margaret Mae (Novotne) Mustard on September 17, 1932, in Lewiston, Idaho, one 12 children.     Grand Coulee Police 1/18 - Dispatch advised police of a domestic violence issue on Kelso in Electric City, where they arrested a 66-year-old man who was taken to Grant County Jail. - Police checked on a report of a man trying to commit suicide.     December 21, 2012, wasn’t the end of the world as we know it, but it was the end of this world for Arthur T. “Ted” Winiecki, 87, of Virginia, Minn., dying that Friday, at Virginia Regional Medical Center from an intracranial hemorrhage. Ted was born February 1, 1925, in Raymond, Wash., the youngest of 10 children of Tadeus and Frieda Winiecki. He graduated from Raymond High School before entering the Navy in 1943.     A blood collection drive scheduled for today (Monday, Jan. 28) has been cancelled.     For Rayne Rabe, a distinct connection exists between belting out a tune and barreling through your opposition. Practicing one has given her the ability to do the other.     Piccolo to coach baseball Ted Piccolo, a member of the school board, has been named the Lake Roosevelt High School head baseball coach. He was named at a meeting of the school board last Wednesday night. Flu causing some absences School officials said this week that the flu season has hit the district, but not too hard to date. Lake Roosevelt High School reported that an average of about 10 are missing school each day. The high school has 212 students. At the Middle School, absences are running from 10-15 a day. Bob Rupe, Electric City’s representative on the Grant Transit Authority Board had the surplus bus delivered to the Grand Coulee Dam Senior Center on Friday. “It’s a 14-passenger bus, small enough so anyone can drive it,” Rupe stated.
