    Seniors will soon find out if two is better than one. Friday, seniors received their second 14-passenger bus from People to People, a 2005 version, which will help serve the needs of local seniors. The Grand Coulee Dam Senior Center recently received their first bus, gifted from the People to People program. Already, seniors, once a month for $15, can catch the bus to Spokane for medical or shopping needs.     Grand Coulee Police 8/19 - Three youngsters flagged down a police officer in the Safeway parking lot to report that their bicycles had been taken.     Ten Years Ago A tense situation came to a peaceful conclusion last Thursday as a Coulee Dam girl, who was feared missing returned safely. Approximately 40 minutes after Tonya Timentwa reported that her 4 year-old daughter Alahna Timentwa was missing, the girl returned to the 1101 Camas Street home. A Grand Coulee Dam Area woman cut off four of her fingers and was still able to drive herself to Coulee Community Hospital for assistance.     A week ago, I was recovering from knee replacement at Lincoln County Transitional Care Center in Davenport. The procedure had been done at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. I experienced a reaction with unexpected outcomes that delayed my return home, so it was great to finally leave Davenport for my home of 30 years in Coulee Dam.     Aaron Boyd Galbraith was awarded a degree of Doctor of Medicine recently from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth University in Hanover, N.H. Galbraith is the son of Allan Galbraith and Lorena Boyd of Wenatchee and the grandson of Larry and Gerry Boyd of Coulee Dam.
