Veterinarian assistant

Veterinary Technician/Assistant Due to the upcoming retirement of a team member, Grand Coulee Veterinary Clinic is actively hiring. Ideally, we would like to find a licensed veterinary technician to jump in and fill the void left by our retiring technician. If such an individual is not found within our community, we are willing to train the right individual as a veterinary assistant. In either scenario the ideal candidate would be a self-motivated, detail oriented, team player with a positive attitude, desire to learn, and good communication skills. This position will be a full-time position (32-40 hours per week). Duties will include (but not be limited to) supporting the veterinarians, senior assistant, and coworkers in their duties by keeping our exam rooms clean and running smoothly, patient handling and care, client education, and customer service support.
