Vote YES on initiatives

The people of Washington have said 10 times that we don’t want a state income tax but the Democrats have decided on their own that we don’t know what we want so they decided to implement one. The call it a “millionaire’s tax” but refused to put a bottom threshold limit on when they passed it. Not one cent has been collected and they are already calling for the million-dollar income threshold amount to be lowered. How long will it take them to lower it to where it hits your income level?

You’ve probably seen the ads on TV calling for voters to reject this initiative claiming it will reduce funding for education and numerous other things. Only 5% of this income tax is stipulated to go for childcare & early learning purposes, the remaining 95% would go into the state general fund – you know where the state can spend it on anything! The ads opposing this initiative are being paid for by WA Federation of State Employees, the National Education Association, Washington Education Association & Service Employees International Union – all groups that would expect pay raises for their members from the state with this money. Former Democrat Governors Locke & Gregoire criticized state Democratic lawmakers for what they described as a “spending problem” rather than an “income problem. Before the state raises taxes on taxpayers how about they put an effort into ending the fraud that is taking our tax money. How many millions were lost during the Covid Unemployment Fraud & now the “supposed” daycare fraud that has no kids attending but gets $40,000 a month for what?

Initiative IL26-001 parental rights relating to their children in public schools.

In 2024 the people passed by Initiative a law establishing certain parental rights, the Democrat legislature got their hands on it in 2025 and turned the original intention of the law upside down. Voting Yes on this Initiative would return it to its original form.

Initiative IL26-638 concerning participation in athletics at K-12 schools.

The big question is why is this Initiative even necessary? It should be obvious to anyone why there are separate “girl” sports teams & “boy” sports teams. The competition categories are divided by sex – male & female. Why the state has continued to allow girls to be subjected possible injury by competing against boys that think they are girls is beyond comprehension.
