NOTICE OF TOWN HALL MEETING

The Grand Coulee City Council will hold a town hall meeting to discuss the implementation of an ordinance pertaining to vacant business buildings. The special meeting will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 306 Midway Avenue. Business owners are strongly encouraged to attend. The regular council meeting will immediately follow. The city hall is accessible to persons with disabilities. The city will make arrangements to reasonably accommodate the needs of special classes of citizens, including handicap accessibility.

Milk for the school breakfast/lunch program during the 2025-2026 school year. Milk items on which bidders are to submit quotes per case are:

 *   1% Milk-22 cases per week.

 *   Chocolate Milk -20 cases per week

Multiple deliveries per week are expected for all Milk products.

TOWN OF ALMIRA

REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF

QUALIFICATIONS MUNICIPAL

ENGINEERING SERVICES

The Town of Almira will accept Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing professional municipal engineering services during the 2025-2027calendar years. The Town will be selecting a consulting engineering firm for municipal engineering services for sewer, projects, comprehensive plans, municipal planning, studies, capital facilities plans, rate studies, technical engineering reports, cost estimates, environmental reviews, plans, specifications, and construction administration services. Consultant shall have extensive experience with the preparation of funding applications. Design, plans, specifications, and services during construction for street and utility improvements may include those funded by ECY, USDA-RD, CDBG, CERB, SIP, EDA, DWSRF, PWTF, SRTS and federal stimulus grant funds.

The Town may submit grant application(s) to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and/or applications to other agencies/programs for funding to complete a study and/or construction project(s). Should CDBG grant funds be secured, cost plus percentage of construction cost consultant agreements will not be allowed. State and federal equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements will apply to the selection process, consultant agreement and conduct of the project.

Statements of Qualifications shall be limited to twelve (12) pages and will be evaluated on relevant experience in similar work, qualifications of key personnel, familiarity with the Town of Almira and/or experience with municipalities of similar size, experience with state and federal funding programs, previous performance on public projects, and references. Three (3) copies of the Statement of Qualifications shall be submitted.

The Town’s selection of a consultant for these engineering services will be made from the Statement of Qualifications received at Town Hall by 4:00 p.m. on May 19th, 2025. Statement of Qualifications should be delivered to Michelle Blair, Clerk/Treasurer, Town of Almira, 19 N Third, Almira, WA 99103 or mailed to P.O. Box 215, Almira, WA 99103. Phone: 509-639-2601. The most highly rated firm will be selected for negotiation of a professional services contract. Interviews may be held at the Town’s discretion.

Notice of Open Record Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Electric City Planning Commission will hold an open record public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Electric City City Hall on the proposed repeal and replacement of Title 17 Subdivision of the Electric City Municipal Code (ECMC). This title of the ECMC contains regulations for the segregation or division of property in the community.

All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. CIPP Sewer Main Lining Project

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Town of Coulee Dam until 2:01 PM on June 4, 2025, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud.

Bid proposals may be sent by mail, or hand delivered, to the Town Clerk at the Town of Coulee Dam, Town Hall, 300 Lincoln Avenue, Coulee Dam, WA 99116, prior to the opening. The envelope shall be plainly marked with “SEALED BID for the Town of Coulee Dam – CIPP Sewer Main Lining Project” and shall clearly indicate the name and address of the bidder.

The bid opening will take place at Town Hall, 300 Lincoln Avenue, Coulee Dam, WA 99116 and will also be available virtually via Microsoft Teams.

Brief Description of Work:

This Contract provides for the lining of approximately 1,875 LF of sanitary sewer pipe ranging in size from 8-inch to 10-inch as depicted in the project plans with a cured in place pipe (CIPP) liner system. Work also includes cleaning/removing of debris from the pipe, flushing the pipe, completing TV inspection of the sewer pipe pre and post lining, restoring sewer laterals and trimming protruding laterals and obstructions, providing sewer bypass, traffic control, and other miscellaneous items of work.

Estimated Cost of Project: $210,000 - $240,000

Bids must be completed on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated on the BID PROPOSAL. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, minor defects, or to reject any or all bids.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in the amount equal to five (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the same time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Town of Coulee Dam.
