This year's button, which doubles as a raffle entry, was designed by Dylan Green. They're available to purchase at several local businesses.

Over the next few weeks, you'll be hearing a lot about the 67th Colorama Festival – the kickoff to the Coulee area high tourist season happening May 9-11 this year.

Part vendor fair and part pro-rodeo, the early summer community party features live music, beer gardens, bull riding, a parade, two days of pro rodeo events, a raffle drawing, cowboy breakfast, riding entertainment, a Kid Zone with games and activities, a 21+ after party, and even a little variety circus show.

For now, Colorama buttons (AKA: raffle entries that help support and promote the festival) are available for purchase at a growing list of local businesses: Voltage Coffee House, Coulee Hardware, Cafe Espresso, Coulee Wall Variety Store, MPH HI Dam, The Eagles on B Street, and the local motels. Buttons cost $3.50, or special-request your lucky number for $5 each by contacting the Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber can also provide parade entry applications, which are due April 30. Call Nancy: 633-3074.
