Three wrestlers compete at Tri-State

Three Raider wrestlers competed at the big Tri-State meet in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho last weekend, taking the tough road to prepare for this week’s PowerHouse Tournament at Lake Roosevelt.

That tourney is scheduled to start at 10 a.m., this Thursday, Dec. 21. with both LR’s girls’ and boys’ teams.

At North Idaho College, Mathias Carson, wrestling at 113 pounds; Rodger Cate (120); and Francis Louie (152) wrestled in consolation rounds at the 68-school tourney.

Carson was pinned twice. Cate was pinned once and pinned a Frenchtown, Montana wrestler.

Louie won two matches by decision and lost two by fall.
