A local gas station and convenience store is listed as the retailer that sold a winning lottery ticket in September.

Coulee Gas, on Midway Avenue in Grand Coulee, sold one of two tickets that drew $50,000 prizes Sept. 20, according to the state Lottery Commission’s website.

That ticket, however, is not listed on a separate page of unclaimed prizes, suggesting the lucky winner has already cashed in.

From Sept. 16 through October 11, Washingtonians won 21 large prizes ranging from $50,000 to $1million, according to the site.

“While the $1.76 billion Powerball jackpot was won in California, Washington’s Lottery officials (Tuesday) announced that the state saw 20 big Powerball prize winners of its own during the recent jackpot run, along with a large prize winner for Mega Millions. Over the last month, both games brought 21 prizes ranging between $50,000 and $1 million to winners across the state,” the state lottery site says.

Powerball produced 19 prizes worth $50,000, as well as a $1 million prize from a ticket purchased at an Arco AM PM in Aberdeen.

A $1 million Mega Millions prize was also won from a ticket purchased at Silver Reef Casino in Ferndale, and is still unclaimed. Winlock Food Mart located at 642 State Highway 505 in Winlock

Winning players have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize.
