Richard Scordas, 17, from Coulee Dam recently placed second in the national water ski slalom competition in Duquoin, Illinois.

The 1983 Lake Roosevelt football team is high in numbers and in spirit. Forty-one students are out this year, 20 of which are freshmen, nine sophomores, eight juniors and four seniors. The seniors include Jim Stanley, John Oliver, Scott Kentner and Joe Mueller.
