The Lady Raiders volleyball team will play two more playoff games this week after defeating Tonasket last night.

LR finished their regular season with a 9-6 win-loss record, and needed a win in a postseason game last night to keep their season alive.

Following a 3-1 victory over Oroville at home on Oct. 25, and a 3-0 loss in Brewster Oct. 28, the Lady Raiders finished fourth in the standings of the Central Washington 2B league.

Manson, Okanogan, and Brewster finished ahead of LR at first, second, and third respectively, while Tonasket and Liberty Bell are ranked fifth and sixth in the league.

LR hosted Tonasket (6-11 overall) last night in the first round of the district tournament.

LR won 3-0, winning the first set 25-23, the second 26-24, and the third 25-20.

Tonasket is eliminated, while LR will play Manson at Omak High School at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, a game from which both teams will continue onto the next round.

That third round will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, also at Omak High School, for a chance to qualify for the state tournament.

LR will play that day against either Okanogan or Brewster, at either 3 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. depending on what happens in the Thursday's games.
