I have had the pleasure of knowing Joey Kriete for 30-plus years and was honored to have worked alongside him in Law Enforcement for nearly half that time. Not only is Joey a true and loyal friend, but a phenomenal mentor and partner with a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is someone I wholeheartedly trust at the helm of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and is a proven leader who will continue to do great things for our county.

Coming up through the ranks, Joey was one of my biggest fans. He continually provided great advice and different ideas to assure I accomplished and achieved my goals. Having someone who is incessantly assisting others for the betterment of their career and the community they serve is what our county must have in an elected Sheriff. Serving with Joey as Chief Deputies at the Sheriff’s Office provided me a clear insightful knowledge of his ability to make difficult decisions and lead others through example. Most importantly, Joey has demonstrated and proven an unwavering commitment to absolute integrity. This is who Joey Kriete is as a person and a professional.
