Update: Scheduled power outage tomorrow for Nespelem Valley Electric customers

More than just the town of Nespelem will be affected by the outage Friday, a 5pm correction from OEM says:

Correction for Location of Outage.

Nespelem Valley Electric will have an 8 hour scheduled power outage tomorrow Friday, May 20, 2022 from 7:00 AM to 3 PM to allow Bonneville Power Administration to conduct line maintenance.

Correction on location: The following area will be affected: The Town of Nespelem, Government Center (Agency), Corrections Center, Senior Center, Down River (Greenhouse), and Gold Lake Road.

**For all persons using medical equipment requiring electrical power, you will need to make provisions for up to a 8 hour power outage.**

If you get your electricity from Nespelem Valley Electric, you won't have power for eight hours tomorrow, Friday, May 20 due to a scheduled outage.

A May 19 notice from Okanogan County Emergency Management explains that Nespelem Valley Electric will have an eight hour scheduled power outage tomorrow, Friday, May 20 from 7:00 AM to 3 PM "to allow Bonneville Power Administration to conduct line maintenance."

"For all persons using medical equipment requiring electrical power, you will need to make provisions for up to a 8 hour power outage," the notice says.
