Ernestine Iukes and Gregory Wak Wak Jr. of Nespelem, Washington, are proud to announce the birth of their daughter Melanie Jean Wak Wak on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee, Washington. She weighed 7 lbs., 5 oz., and was 18 inches in length at birth.

Siblings include Raina Suina, 13, Rhilene Suina 10, Dexter Suina Jr. 7, Sierra Suina 6, Beau Hunter Suina, 5. Maternal grandparents area Lauri McCraigie and Steven Iukes Jr. Paternal grandparents are Josephine Headly and Gregory Wak Wak Sr.
