Oasis of Hope

On August 31, 2021, I injured myself when a 400-pound welding table fell off a cable, knocking me down, causing a severe laceration to my right leg requiring surgery. I have lived in this community since 1969 and have had limited encounters with our local hospital. I had formed a somewhat passive opinion of the emergency medical care available, however this injury gave me a new and more definite perspective.

From admittance to discharge, my care was excellent and complete from the all members of the medical team. I was so impressed with the surgical expertise of Dr Hsieh and the entire surgical staff, including the wonderful, competent nursing staff that cared for me during my stay. I felt our community needs to know this dedicated medical “Oasis of Hope,” as I call it, will take care of your total being to help you become whole again. There are sacrifices on their part, with some traveling from near and many from far away to serve our community hospital in this time of staffing shortages. The administration deserves our praise as well for their courageous efforts to continue to provide for our community needs. Thank you all for a more than positive experience.
