What you need to know before coming to Colorama Festival events

The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce is asking for cooperation in keeping everyone safe during Colorama. The chamber issued the following guidelines:
“Masks are to be worn at all times (except when actively eating or drinking) at all Colorama Festival activities, including all events being held in North Dam Park (Beer Garden, Food Fair, Arts and Crafts, Kids Festival Zone, Helicopter Rides), and the Parade down Midway.
“We ask the community to do their best at making personal choices that keep themselves and their families safe while participating in our celebration. If you do not feel well, have COVID-19 symptoms, or are actively positive with the COVID-19 virus, please stay home and refrain from gathering at any Colorama Festival Events.
“There will be designated entry and exit points into and out of the Kids Festival Zone and Beer Garden. Please follow these designations.
The Arts and Crafts Fair and Food Vendor booths at North Dam Park will be spaced out for your safety; we ask that you maintain a 6-foot distance while in line for food and when viewing entertainment in the park.
“The Beer Garden will be open in the same location as previous years and following all COVID-19 protocols given to restaurants. We ask you wear your mask in the Beer Garden while walking around or ordering at the bar; you may remove it at your table when you are drinking. The Beer Garden will operate at 50% capacity unless state regulations have changed. When the capacity is reached, we will ask people to either wait until more space is available or return later.
“The Colorama Festival will provide hand sanitizer throughout the event space and encourage people to either wash their hands or use sanitizer frequently.
“Safety protocols will be in place for the Kids Festival Zone — including hand sanitizing stations. We ask that all patrons always maintain 6 feet of distance while in line and wear masks unless actively eating or drinking. Masks are to be worn on the activities, as well, in line and walking around the park.”
