4/27 - Police assisted the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office by responding to an incident at Lakeview Terrace mobile park where a woman said she had been fighting with her brother and she had hit him with a baseball bat. Upon arrival, one officer observed blood spatter on a porch outside a trailer. Another officer chased down a man who was running, who said he had been hit by the baseball bat. Another man came out of the trailer with a cut on his wrist. The woman was not at the location but later arrived and told officers she was upset that her children were with the two men while the men were intoxicated, leading to the fight. The men were both taken to the hospital for their injuries. Lincoln County took over the investigation of the incident.

4/28 - Police told a man in Electric City that they would have to call a locksmith after he found himself locked out of his house.

4/29 - Police assisted Colville Tribal Police by being prepared for a vehicle chase to come to the Grand Coulee Dam area. Officers placed spike strips near the smoke shop in Coulee Dam, but the vehicle chase ended somewhere near Buffalo Lake.

- Police, along with Grand Coulee Fire Department members, helped an intoxicated man into his Continental Heights home.

4/30 - A hardware store owner chased a man who had stolen spray paint, but the man got into a Honda Civic on the passenger side and the driver took off. Police found the vehicle in Electric City with two people standing outside it. The men denied being at the hardware store, but one of the men was wearing exactly what was described by the hardware store owner. Police explained there is security footage and he would find out if the men were lying. Eventually the man turned over the stolen spray paint can, valued at $3.99 plus tax. He was cited for third-degree theft and banned from the store. Police returned the can of spray paint, then found out that actually five to six cans had been stolen. The store will provide security footage to the police.

5/1 - Police responded to a report of a truck hauling scrap wood in the Osborne Bay area where illegal dumping sometimes occurs. Police waited for the truck to drive back, but when it did, it was empty. Police spoke to the driver and passenger. The driver admitted to dumping wood but said he had permission from a property owner named “Peggy.” Police took pictures of the wood that had been dumped and found that no one named Peggy owned or had owned that property or nearby properties. The driver is being charged with littering and will possibly also face the charge of providing false information.

5/2 - A suspected burglar at Grand Coulee Avenue storage units turned out to be a woman having trouble finding the right storage unit. She found the right one and opened it with her key.

5/3 - Police spoke with a man and woman on Partello Parkway. The woman seemed to be having a mental issue and threw canned food and clothes outside an apartment. The man wanted police to talk to her to get her to calm down. The two agreed to try and be quiet and to pick up the stuff that was thrown outside.

- A man on Burdin Boulevard was cited for having a dog at large after his white pit bull was reported urinating in someone else’s yard. There have been previous incidents with the dog.

5/3 - A woman backed her 2013 Toyota into the side of a 2020 Cadillac at the Electric City Post Office. An officer helped the drivers exchange insurance information and took photos.
