Constitution vs Conscience

Last updated 1/20/2021 at 8:18am

Representatives Dan Newhouse and Jamie Herrera Beutler last week voted to impeachment President Donald J. Trump in a one-day rush.

Both Representatives Newhouse and Beutler gave an oath of office, “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same… So help me God.” They both went against this oath and decided Conscience was an excuse to violate the United States Constitution and their oath to God.

President Donald Trump did not commit any impeachable offenses because he did not commit any Treason, Bribery, or high crimes or misdemeanors per Article II. Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz said, “When the House of Representatives impeached the president earlier this week, they committed six independent violations of the Constitution.”

Representative Dan Newhouse and Jamie Herrera Beutler violated with their vote Presidents Trump’s constitutional rights of Free speech provision, impeachment criteria, the bill of attainder, due process, and on and on.

Ironically, Representatives Dan Newhouse and Jamie Herrera Beutler are hiding behind the violation of their oath and the Constitution by saying they had to vote their conscience. There is no conscience clause in the constitution. As of this week, it is clear as the investigation goes on from the events of January 6th that most who broke the window was Antifa and BLM. MEGA supporters are heard on the video telling people not to go into the capital. The dead capitol police officer suffered a medical condition, and there was no evidence of getting hit by a fire extinguisher.

Trump said in his ending statement in his speech “The Democrats are hopeless, they never vote for anything. Not even one vote. But we’re going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones because the strong ones don’t need any of our help. We’re going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country. So let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. I want to thank you all. God bless you and God Bless America.” These words are not impeachable.

Representative Dan Newhouse and Jamie Herrera Beutler are to represent us the people of Eastern Washington, not their Conscience or just their large money donors. They both took an oath to the constitution and God, they violated both that oath and violated the law by not following the constitution. Both need to be primaried and voted out of office, and this can only be done by us together by never forgetting this horrible action both have committed.

God Bless America and God Bless Washington State.
