Two men escaped from Okanogan County Jail, it was discovered Tuesday morning, and the sheriff asks that people call law enforcement if they spot them.

Kristofer Wittman, 28, with blond hair and blue eyes was in jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, attempting to elude police, obstructing, reckless driving and more. He's 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds.

Christian White, 53, is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 165 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. He was also in jail on multiple charges, including attempting to elude police, possession of methamphetamines, hit and run and more.

Sheriff's deputies, detectives, and Corrections deputies are working on the investigation to locate the two escapees and identify who may have assisted with the escape. They may be traveling together or may have split up.

They were last known to be wearing blue inmate clothing with white long underwear, but they may have changed clothing.

They were discovered missing about 6:15 a.m. Tuesday.
