12/2 - On Bowen Street, a man and woman agreed to separate for the day after getting into an argument when the man wanted to get his iPad for work.

- A woman on Lakeview Avenue complained to officers about various topics, none of which they could do anything about. Complaints included those about people around her rubbing their ears, and about someone breaking her car, on which she didn’t provide any more details. She thanked the officers for their time.

12/3 - A woman at apartments on Lakeview Avenue said a woman had tampered with her car, which would not start. Police told her the cold weather, little to no gasoline, and possibly a dead battery were the cause of her car not starting. The woman said a tow company was coming to look at the vehicle. Police told her to have them jump the car and to look for evidence of tampering.

12/5 - Explosions heard by people near Batchelor Square were coming from fireworks being set off by the Lincoln County Pyrotechnics Club, who had a permit to do so.

12/6 - A woman on Wenatchee Avenue reported her truck had been stolen sometime after midnight. She suspected a man who had been at the Wenatchee Avenue residence and had been sitting on a chair with her jacket on it, in which she kept her keys. She found her key ring but not the truck key. Police were unable to locate the truck or the suspect.

12/7 - Police gave a woman on Third Street, reported as drunk, a ride home to A Street.

- Police were unable to locate individuals reportedly involved in a possible physical altercation. Police looked in the Hill Avenue area and at the Center Lodge Motel.

12/8 - An officer saw a black Mercedes driving north on SR-155 near Riley Point. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Coulee City. The officer pulled the vehicle over on Elmer City Access Road. The woman driving it said she took the vehicle to escape an abusive relationship with the owner, and was planning to return it in the morning. The owner was indecisive about pressing charges and ultimately chose not to, partly because he and the woman share an address and her name is on the insurance. The woman and her passenger were released in Elmer City, and the man came and got his car.

11/30 - Late at night, a man at the River Drive apartments said that his downstairs neighbors were arguing, and a man said something about getting a woman drugs. The complainant said he pounded on the floor and heard the other man say he was going to kick his ass. The two arguing downstairs said that they were just arguing verbally and that nothing physical had occurred. That man agreed to leave for the night. The Okanogan County Prosecutor will review the case to see about harassment charges for threatening the upstairs neighbor.

12/5 - A man on Central Drive said he was sitting on the floor of his living room when he heard a creaking noise and saw a man in a black hoodie standing in his living room. He fired at the intruder with a 9 mm pistol and missed. The intruder ran out the back door, where he is also believed to have entered. Police observed where the bullet hit the wall, and where it exited the wall outside the residence. Police were unable to find a man matching the description of the intruder. No fingerprints could be lifted from the back door.

- Police investigated a 911 call from a female on River Drive who had said “help” before the line disconnected. No one at the reported residence had called 911, and a neighboring resident hadn’t called 911 either. In attempting to call back the number the call came from, the call went to voicemail.
