COVID-19 cases are up and down all over the map and the state is seeing record high days.

The Seattle Times reported Nov. 16 that "for the third day in a row, state health officials have reported a record number of daily cases in Washington, with 2,309 new COVID-19 cases as of Sunday afternoon."

That compares to statewide case rates in the 600s two weeks ago.

As of Nov. 17:

Okanogan County has reported 1,204 total cases, including 14 deaths. There have been 15 cases in Coulee Dam, five in Elmer City, and 35 in Nespelem. The county has had 23 new cases in the past 14 days, making for an incidence rate of 51.5 cases per 100,000 population, down from 77.2 on Nov. 10.

Grant County reports 4,182 total cases, including 28 deaths. There have been 16 cases in the Grand Coulee Dam area, 12 in the Coulee City area. The county has had 552 cases in the past 14 days and an incidence rate of 565, up from 279 Nov. 10.

Lincoln County has seen a total of 123 cases, with 39 of those reported in the last two weeks. That makes for a two-week incidence rate of 363 in that county of just over 10,000 people, more than 14 times as high as needed to stop viral spread.

Douglas County had 1,678 total cases, including seven deaths; 237 new cases in the past 14 days; an incidence rate of 545.7, up from 320.1 on Nov. 10.

Washington state as a whole has seen 134,121 total cases, including 2,571 deaths; 15,029 cases in the past 14 days; an incidence rate of 199.2, up from 145.2 on Nov. 10.
